7) Why I like him:

The tech. Everything tech related is cool and everyone wishes they had the suit. Physically without the suit he is nothing extraordinary. He is a genius level intellect but has no super-powers. He has a huge ego as brought to life by Robert Downey Jr in the movies. He always believes that there is a scientific solution to everything. He is slow to accept other explanations for anything (faith, magic, etc). He is the most pragmatic of the Avengers and always seeks to dominate the room. He and Captain America have served the longest terms number of issues as chairman of the Avengers throughout the years.
